What the app stores

Creating an account stores your email address and a password hash. The profile, address book, wishlist, demo orders, reviews and consent settings store the information you choose to submit. Security logs record account actions and request identifiers.

Your browser stores a session refresh token and a guest-cart token so you can stay signed in and keep your cart. Pending checkout identifiers help recover interrupted requests. A language cookie remembers your EN/DE selection. These are used to operate the app.

External services

When connected, Stripe handles test checkout on its own site. Card details are not entered into shopupu. A connected email service handles account messages. A connected AI provider may receive your stylist message and relevant catalog information. Use fictional details and avoid sensitive information.

Manage your account data

You can edit your profile and addresses, manage consents, export local account data and request account erasure from Security & data in your account. Erasure removes profile and delivery details, review text and authentication credentials. Demo orders, payments and their operation identifiers remain linked to a disabled, pseudonymous account for consistency and reconciliation.

The download includes linked records from the local application database and explains excluded fields. It does not include credentials, external provider records, operational logs, backups or browser-only chat history. Those sources need their own retention and deletion procedures for the selected deployment.

How long data is kept

Your account and everything linked to it stay until you erase the account from Security & data. Accounts that have not signed in for 12 months are removed by the operator. Fictional order and test-payment records of erased accounts are kept in pseudonymised form for up to 24 months so stock and payment history stay consistent. Security logs are kept for 12 months. Backups are rotated after 14 days; an erased account can therefore remain in a backup copy for up to 14 more days.
